  Finally, the Clark Gable/Norma Shearer film, A Free Soul is coming out on DVD as part of the TCM Archives - Forbidden Hollywood Collection, Vol. 2 (which includes the films, The Divorcee / A Free Soul / Night Nurse / Three on a Match /Female). This title will be released on March 25, 2008.

Welcome to this site devoted to Norma Shearer at Classic Movie Favorites. Norma Shearer had a career that spanned from silent to sound films allowing her to become one of the greatest stars to come out of the Hollywood system. By marrying the great producer Irving Thalberg, she increased her fame, but suffered through many difficulties with his early death. Like Garbo, she retired early in life, but left a legacy of wonderful films for us to remember always. This site is devoted to those memories.

Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of the Motion Picture Masterpieces collection including Marie Antoinette for Norma Shearer stars in this unforgettable performance as France's tragic queen. Tyrone Power plays opposite her; John Barrymore is crafty Louis XV and Robert Morley was Oscar(R) -nominated as Louis XVI.
