Comments: Read somewhere that James Mason "discovered" or at least gave a big boost to actor Sam Neill (great actor of various roles, including Jurassic Park movies & Hunt for Red October)
LOOK at a pic of Sam Neill! He looks a lot like James Mason. And is quite polished---(No wonder Mr. Mason promoted Neill's career!)

Comments: Wonderful site beautifully conceived and executed. I'm not entirely sure, but believe the movie image entitled "Return of the Scarlet Pimpernel" is in actuality from "The Man in Grey"

Comments: I'm a very big fan of James Mason, I have alot of his movies and I don't know why but his last movie "The Shooting Party" is my favorite, I've watched it over and over, I beleive it was one of his best pieces of work and so so sad that it was his last movie, but I think it captured the real "James Mason" in it, plus a great wonderful cast to go with it. "MAY GOD BLESS YOU JAMES MASON AND GIVE YOU ETERNAL REST"

Comments: Can't believe what marvels my new pc has to offer, i.e.,a delightful site on my all time favorite, James Mason. Many thanks for this fantastic treat. I am seventy four and still swoon over his old movies, The Desert Fox ?? one of the best. His role as German General Rommel was impeccable and so sympathetic, as I recall.
Are you aware??? According to the August issue of Now Playing, the viewers guide to Turner Classic Movies, JAMES MASON will be Star of the Month for September. A beautiful tribute to him on the back cover of Aug.. Yes, I have lots of old movie mag. articles and pictures. Thanks again, Lynn.

Comments: Hello! I am 25 years old and have been a big fan of James Mason for years, and all his films. Such a charming and kind person, and it shows in his films too. Some of my favorite James Mason films are , "Pandora and the Flying Dutchman, "20,000 Leauges Under the Sea," and "A Star is Born." In my opinion he is the most chamring and handsome leading man. Lynn, your website and tribute to Mr. James Mason is wonderful you do a great job on it!

Comments: The only movie I've saw starring James Mason, was Salem's Lot. I saw it when I was very young...and to this day, I still think that no body could have played that role better than him. He was so sinister, yet so charming at the same time.
James has always been a good actor in my mind, and he was the twin of my late Grandfather.
This site has inspired me to research more of his movies.

Comments: Wonderful site and a wonderful actor - I saw Pandora and The Flying Dutchman again the other day and it reminded me of the huge crush I had on the great man. I wonder if in his later years he knew how many teenage girls fell in love with him through his films? Must have tickled him pink if he did!

Comments: I thought I was the only person left on earth who loves James Mason. I fell in love with him when I was quite young, and he was a face on the Early Show--an old movie feature. He is one of the best-looking men who ever graced the screen--but his voice, diction, accent, and mannerisms were even better. I was very disappointed when I grew up and figured out he was a bit too old for me . . .

Comments: First, thank you for your incalculable amount of time you are putting to get this site running. I have to admit that I’m discovering the studio years and I’m starting to love it very much. I’m not saying that what comes out today is..........oh well, you know what I mean. It all started with some DVD’s of Hitchcock a friend gave me and it never stopped since then. I’m buying more and more Criterion and I love it!
Thanks for your precious infos.
It takes real passion to do what you do.
