| Katharine Hepburn was born on May 12, 1907 in Hartford Connecticut. The daughter of a doctor and a suffragette, she was always encouraged to speak her mind, exercise her body and use her talents to their fullest potential. These were wise teachings since she lived to be 96 and had a very successful career and life. For most of her life she lived in New York City, but had recently lived in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, USA until her death on June 29, 2003. | ||||||||||
