Classic Movie Favorites focus is on films from the 1930's to 1960's. During this time, Gable was at the height of his career and you can't try to describe this period without including a reference to him. At the time, the studios were all powerful and, although Clark would say he was somewhat of a pawn in their game, he certainly had a great and full life and career. This was mainly because of his influence at his home studio of MGM. Although, he worked very hard to achieve his fame, he certainly benefited by his determination.

Probably best known for playing Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind, his career spanned from silent films until the 1960's. He worked continuously until the very end of his life and his last film, The Misfits, although tragic in helping to bring on his early death at 59, is one of his best.
