However, at the time there were lots of strong women actresses so there certainly was a good variety of stars to choose from. Joan plays "the other woman" in this film as Clare Boothe's comedy provides real screen entertainment. With George Cukor's direction everyone came out with good performances. Its a noteworthy film for its entire woman cast and excellent screenplay. I'd rent or buy it.
