August 8, 2007 - Just found this at Amazon.com, from Warner Brothers films of the 1930's a DVD that includes 21 complete musical numbers that established forever the genius of Busby Berkeley. The segments are escapism, pure and simple, except they're never simple. Instead Berkeley shoots through floors, through roofs and through one kaleidoscopic array of leggy chorines after another. It's worth purchasing if you can't afford the collection below. To read more about this site or to purchase it, click here.
July 28, 2007 - Just received notification from a friend that Edna Callaghan, a Berkeley dancer, died this month at the age of 95. She had appeared in the early 1930's Berkeley movies, that included Dancing Lady, The Great Ziegfield, Palmy Days and others. You can read more about Ms. Callaghan at the IMDB, by clicking here.

March 21, 2006 - The Busby Berkeley Collection is released on DVD. Finally, a collection of Berkeley's greatest films. The set includes: Footlight Parade, Gold Diggers of 1933, Dames, Gold Diggers of 1935, and 42nd Street. To read more about this site or to purchase it, click here.
